Rich, very aromatic orange wine with blooming bouqet of honey, apricot jam and wild flowers and nicely balanced medium-intence body.
*Ddèfiu in the local language means "warm wind" and it is this wind that carries the flavors of a land in the sapling vineyards.
Grapes: partlially dried on the plant 100% Zibibbo (one of the rarest grapes in the word, was cultivated in acient Egypt and brought to Sicilly and Pantelleria by the Phoenicians and the Greeks around 800 BC; extraordinary aromatic grape and very resilient to changing harsh climat).
Vinification: skin maceration for 60 days, 6 months in stainless steel, 12 months in chestnut barrel. No sulfites added.
